When we signed up for rental online we declined all auto insurance. When we arrived at the Tampa Fla location on Avion Dr we agreed only to a vehicle upgrade. The rep told us we would see an extra $200 deposit fee on our rental charge. When we looked at the receipt we didnt give it a thought. They had asked my husband to sign in two places never telling us that we were agreeing to auto insurance coverage at 19.99 per day".

We discovered the hidden charge while we sitting in Tampa airport and they told us we needed to come back to the location to get it straightened out/. I told him I could not as I would miss my plane.. He gave me an 800# to call /. I tried calling the number and got a rep who was rude and actually hung up on me|. We have tried contacting the Tampa location and we can never get some one to answer/. This was clearly a bait and switch tactic,. We can no one to listen to us or help us;. This has been the absolute WORST experience we have ever had with a rental company. When I indicated to the rep on the phone that I intended to post this on as many sites as I can on the internet and report it to Fla consumer protection, she told me "go ahead" and hung up on me. Great customer service. PLEASE STAY AWAY From this company. HORRIBLE COMPANY 128010f

they hire con artists for area managers so don't expect any help there.

They charged me for an upgrade and gave me the same car. Second time i rented they gave me the no fuel charge when i specifficaly told them no. Watch out for the bait and switch.
