Despite having a confirmed reservatio, they hav no cars and I am forced to wait for them to find one (other companies are sold out). This is not the first problem with them but I sure hope it is the last. They are NOT a reputable company (and what does that say about their parent Hertz?). Go some where else! Their Area Manager Anthony Long will not even speak to people about this mess! There are probably 15-20 other people waiting for cars as well. They are not even offerring any compensation for the problems encountered. So much for trying to get in early to avoid rush hour traffic. 127ffa2

I dare say that you, more than likely, work for Advantage (you are probably the manager) and although you are thankful that you have a job, you are not getting much support from the higher ups at the district level much less at the corporate level. They probably tie your hands in many situations...leaving you helpless to do anything about any problem situations (so you are on the front lines taking the verbal abuse from the irate customers and you have no solutions for their rightful anger...because the company does not give you any remedial solutions), then the company will hold you responsible for anything and everything that goes wrong. This leaves you angry with the customers because that is your only choice for your pent up anger. You can't turn your anger toward the company because they would terminate you...and you really need your job, don't you...so your only recource is to come here and vent your hostility in a rather passive-aggressive fashion toward the customers. In this situation, you, other employees, and the customers are all victims of both the Advantage and Hertz Corporation. |

That's WHY they have a parent company. Did you expect Hertz service for dollar store prices??? Get real. And to top it all off - if there were 20 people waiting, then there was a serious problem and you need to just accept that sht happens. I'm curious where you got a "reservation" from. Most companies will guarantee your reservation (if you put a deposit down) and they will refund your money immediately. Sounds like you failed bigtime bro, maybe you should stay home more often and not go out into the big scary world where not everything works out just right. |
