We rented a car from Advantage Car Rental in Honolulu, Oahu. Not only was the car dirty (it had not been washed) but also it was literally infested with roaches.
We exchanged the car and were given another vehicle which, although equally dirty, at least was cockroach-free. We went back to the hotel and washed every article of clothing we had. As I was taking my clothes off, 3 small baby cockroaches jumped off from the hood of the jacket I was wearing.
We have been around the world and rented cars from a million places, some good, some bad, but never in our wildest dreams did we ever expect to rent a car that was literally infested with roaches.
We will never rent from Advantage Care Rental and until they clean up their act, if you care about hygiene and personal cleanliness, we recommend you find another place to rent from. Truly gross! 12807be
